This is a personal portfolio site. These terms are short on purpose, they cover the handful of things that actually apply to a site like this one, not a boilerplate wall of legal text.

The design, code, and writing on this site belong to Henry James Underwood, except where noted. Client logos and brand marks shown on the Client Work page belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the projects they relate to, not to imply endorsement. You're welcome to reference this site (e.g. linking to it, quoting a sentence with attribution), but please don't copy the site wholesale or pass off the code as your own.

// the chat widget

The "ask about henry" chat widget is an AI assistant that answers questions using this site's content as a reference. It's provided for convenience and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, it is not a substitute for verifying anything important directly (use the contact page for that). Don't rely on it for decisions where accuracy matters.

// working together

Nothing on this site is an offer of services or a quote. If we work together, the scope, price, timeline, and how any data is handled are agreed in a separate written proposal or contract, and that document is what applies to the project.

// links to other sites

Projects and Client Work link out to live apps and client sites (e.g. Raeng, Global Mode, Memory Matters, Grass Roots Sports, Big T's Bakery). Those sites are operated independently, and I'm not responsible for their content, availability, or how they handle your data once you leave hju.dev.

// no warranty

This site is provided as-is. I do my best to keep it accurate and working, but there's no guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

// governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If something on this site is causing you a problem, email me first and I'll try to sort it out directly.

// changes

These terms may be updated as the site changes. Significant changes will be reflected here with no separate notice, since this is a personal site rather than a service with accounts to notify.
